As the sad news of Jack Layton (Leader of the NDP, Canada’s official opposition party) spread, a very touching memorial started to be created by the residents and visitors of Toronto at City Hall. I was lucky enough to take a few pictures of the moving tribute before the rains of today washed them away. Here’s a gallery of some of my favourites. R.I.P. Jack.
As a special thank-you to my online community I’ve gathered up a few of my favourite images from the last past year and created the 1st volume (of many) of downloadable wallpapers for the iPhone 3G(S), 4 and iPad. In this pack there are 10 in total. You can download and use them instantly via the zip files below.
Hope you enjoy them! Cheers, Kevin.
I had a great afternoon shooting Dawna and her lovely dog Wilson recently. What a great dog is all I can say! But, you don’t have to take my word for it. I think you can see his fantastic personality through the pictures in this set. Thanks again to Dawna for letting me spend the day with Wilson. Looking forward to hanging out with guys real soon!
Recently local writer, stylist and publicist Alison Lawler-Dean asked if I’d like to donate a photo for her great art fundraiser ‘Heartbeats for Africa’. Hearing that all proceeds will be supporting the fantastic Stephen Lewis Foundation I jumped at the opportunity to participate. I struggled a bit at first in choosing my submission, but in the end I decided to go on a bit cheeky route and picked the photo above. It’s one of my favorites from my Project 60: LED Etching set I shot last year. For more information on the fundraiser check out today’s lucky penny’s post and visit the official ‘Heartbeats for Africa’ website and facebook event page.
